The Pablo Neruda House at the heart of the Rencontres d'Arles and exchanges between photographers
On the occasion of the Rencontres internationales de la photographie in Arles, discovery of a new exhibition site, the House Pablo Neruda where in the courtyard of this particular hotel a round table is held animated by Michel TOUNIER bringing together professional photographers and amateurs. Michel TOURNIER evokes the scene of Mechanical Orange where the main character Alex is forced to watch a film with his eyelids open, symbol of the passive spectator and the reaction of the photographer Robert DOISNEAU on his profession and the number of shots taken per second. During the round table, the photographers are themselves photographed and filmed by amateurs.
