Greenpeace denounces offshore fishing, including certain fishing practices such as deep trawling, which damages the seabed and affects vulnerable species. Hélène BOURGES, in charge of the "Petite pêche grand avenir" campaign, denounces the dangers of this fishery while Mélanie LAURENT, ambassador of Greenpeace, estimates that in 35 years at this rate there will be no more fish in the sea.
