New words in the Larousse dictionary: selection criteria
Bernard PIVOT interviews Claude DUBOIS, editor-in-chief of Le Petit Larousse, on the selection criteria for the new words registered at Le Petit Larousse this year. It is the use of words that allows them to integrate or not the Petit larousse. Claude Dubois also explains that the purpose of a dictionary is to "reduce the gap between the general knowledge and the knowledge of each".
