"Life how to use": the image of the puzzle as the base of the book
Georges PEREC is interviewed by Bernard PIVOT about his book "La vie mode d'emploi". It is a game between the reader and the writer in which he describes the life of a building. Each piece is the subject of a chapter; it describes the objects of the building and brings the lives of the people who have lived and live in the building to life. He’s a puzzle maker. It is important to allow the reader the freedom to breathe inside the book and to be well. The picture of the puzzle is a fundamental picture to explain the book.
