Interviewed by Bernard RAPP in her house in Neauphle-le-Chateau, Marguerite DURAS talks about her latest novel "L'amant de la Chine du Nord". In recalling the relationship she had with a notable rich man in Indochina at the age of fourteen, she affirmed "I have a kind of passion for dangerous love because scandalous". She describes the courage of this man who had to face the shackles and who was fond of him, recalls the fascination she had for prostitution.
