Collecting daffodils by children for the daffodil festival in Gérardmer
Daffodil harvesting was launched in Gérardmer. The idea is to collect the flowers that will fill the 31 floats that will march through the streets of Gérardmer. And as tradition dictates, it is the children of the schools of Girona who went to find the daffodils, too rare this year, in the rain. Interview with Julie COSTET (Queen of Jounquilles 2013), who despite the rain, is looking forward to picking. Daniel HUSSE (secretary of the Daffodil Festival Society) recalls the different years when there was bad weather for gathering. Testimonies of several children delighted to be in nature and to pick daffodils.
