Behind the scenes of hospitals: laundry
There is a strategic place in the hospital away from any treatment room: laundry. This is where tons of linens and gowns are washed, disinfected, ironed. Since the 1980s, mechanization has been used to process laundry, resulting in less labour and higher output.
