For 17 years, the Black Cat Ball has had the honour of opening the Dunkirk Carnival. The first ball, the one not to be missed under any circumstances even to show up and vote. Midnight, 1 hour, 2 hours. One heckles, one rushes, one pushes oneself, one grasps deaf, blinded, greyed, transcended but happy. If at Dunkirk Jean BART is immortal. What about the carnival?
