The score of the socialist presidential candidate, Benoit Hamon, is announced at 6.35%. The activists present at the Socialist Party headquarters, disappointed, listened to the statement of the candidate, who assumes the disaster announced for several months. The party leaders met at the party headquarters on rue Solférino to discuss the future of the party. The statement of Benoit HAMON is followed by interviews of activists afflicted by the historically weak results of the socialist candidate and by the press statement of the first secretary of the PS, Jean Christophe CAMBADELIS, which speaks of a heavy defeat and the exhaustion of the political project.
